I am sorry for your pain but this is between your son and his wife. The relatives should stay out of this and remain neutral for the sake of the children. There was no mention of your daughter in law and her pain.
When I went through my divorce my mother in law took sides with my ex before knowing what the issues were. What once was a wonderful relationship between us is gone. She has since tried to rekindle our friendship but I can't forget a lot of the words that came from her mouth. this changed once she found out her son caused the divorce with his habitual cheating.
What happens should they reconcile how will the family members react. My advice is to love your son and your grandchildren but take a back seat. He is an adult amd will work this out. |
