| My STBX wants me to respect his girlfriend |
| My STBX wants me to treat his girlfriend with dignity and respect. This is the woman that he was cheating on me with, for the last 4 months, thus I can no long trust him and do not want to me married to a lyiing cheat.I just found out that his has been going on for the last 6 months when we were supposedly trying to work on our marriage to reconcile....I told him that I will treat her with the same amount of dignity and respect that he has shown me for cheating on me. Why wont he leave me alone and get use to the fact that I will NOT respect her OR him? |

To clarify....this has been going on for 6 months...first 2 months he says were different because they were "just friends"....right. |

I do not understand how or why you would have any direct contact with the girl friend to show any emotions. Also I would have little contact with stbx as well and talk with him about issues concerning your future if it is to be a divorce, if you have children custody arrangements. Other than that don't wast your breath discussing such topics with him. he obviously is having some issues with guilt and your 'acceptance ' of his choice will ease the guilt for him. He has a lot of nerve to even discuss her with you and then ask for you to swallow this nonsense and go along with this. You have every right to feel as you do and do not have an obligation to be on speaking terms with his girl friend ever. |

So do you all have children together is that why he wants her respected. Men's minds sure work different that womens don't they? So easing his guilt is what he is doing eh? I look back on it and my ex must have had alot of guilt and loved to test the water to see what I would do under certain circumstances. It all is mind boggling about the games people play with each other. Mine would try to lure me over to the house to pick up mail just to see if I would come so he could scream at me as he loved to have tantrums. He acted worse than a two year old did as nobody could reason with him unless he was on the ground. I got to the point I was losing my temper over his immature actions so I moved on. I refuse to be put through what he put me through. Now he can scream and throw fits with someone else. Life is too short to meet these demands. |

fuck him! my stbx is doing the same shit! there is a book titled, games people play. it is helping me figure out the game inwhich my stbx is trying to play. if you know the game, you know the how not to fall into the little mind traps. good luck. |
