He won't even try to work on our marriage
I've been married for 7 years and have 2 young children. Recently my husband confessed to cheating on me years ago. I've been suspicious of a female at his work recetly and the constant text messaging but he says they are just friends. He confides in her and not me about our relationship. All I know is that he says he feels guilty for an affair he had 6 1/2 yrs ago and because of that can no longer look at me. He rarely comes home anymore, doesn't return my phone calls and is looking for a place of his own. Common sense tells me this coworker is more then a friend but for some reason he denies it very convincingly. He refuses to work on our marriage. I am devastated. He is my best friend and soulmate. I cry constantly and am feeling so lost. I just don't understand why he would cheat on me and then treat me like dirt. No remorse or sympathy AT ALL. I am sooooo hurt!

Reply : Honey, you need to start building a life without this man as you are better than that. Come on he feels guilty about an affair he had that long ago. He is talking garbage. Excuses, excuses, and excuses is what you'll hear from him as he is feeling guilty about the way he has behaved in the marriage. Keep your head high and I'm sure each step you take forward will be large ones as you realize this man that you gave your heart to has a bad character flaw. If you were the best wife you could be I'd turn my back on him as quickly as possible. Cheating has no place in a marriage. He has alot of nerve texting a coworker. What is this man playing with anyway? He is very immature, and he'll treat the next woman the same way if she doesn't beat him to the punch. Sounds like he is Mr. drama King.
