| BF chooses to go to Vegas July 4th to meet his sis over being with me, is this normal? |
| I am, to say the least shocked at BF's behavior. He just mentioned to me yesterday that he contemplating going to Vegas cuz his "sister" wants him to. When if ever am I the priority? His history dicatates this after 1 year. |

First of all, would someone please clarify exactly what "BF" stands for? Sorry, but some of us around here do not easily recognize Internet appreviations. Does it mean "Boyfriend" or does it mean "Best Friend"?Personally, I do not think there is enough information from your topic post to draw an adequate conclusion/answer. There are so many unanswered questions which could come into play. Let me explain what I mean.---- I am not the type of person who would expect someone to give up visiting/seeing their family members, especially if they seldom ever get the chance to be with their family members. Perhaps your "BF" can see you everyday but he hasn't seen his sister in the past year or even the past 10 years! Perhaps his sister recently arrived home from the war and your "BF" would like to spend quality time with his beloved sister during her leave. Perhaps his beloved sister is ill and your "BF" would enjoy spending quality time with her in Las Vegas. I am not the type of individual who would smother anyone away from their family members. If he cannot afford to invite you to accompany him then perhaps the recession has infected your area of the country. If he doesn't want you tagging along because he doesn't want to deal with you around his sister; then perhaps you should investigate and ask him WHY? If he doesn't have a good time with his beloved family and his girlfriend (all at same time), then what in the world is Thanksgiving Dinner going to entail? I do not know your situation and I cannot give you a good, clear answer. Your topic post lacked information to draw a clear conclusion. Sorry. |
